Hime For Help is dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for vulnerable children and families. We believe that caring for a child is a lifetime investment and we are able to accomplish this vision & mission through the generosity of our donors and sponsors.
We rescue, love, and care for orphans and impoverished children in Haiti, meeting their needs physically, emotionally, educationally, and spiritually so that they are empowered to become leaders in their communities and nation.
The vision of Hime For Help is to provide education, nutrition, medical and dental care, and love to the children and families we serve. We believe through our teachers, mentors, and house parents we are raising children to discover their purpose and to become the future leaders of Haiti.
Where We Work
Hime For Help’s Home of Happy Hearts is located in Port au Prince, the capital city of Haiti. Our Canadian office is located in Chatham, Ontario.
Despite the hardships and natural disasters that have plagued the Haitian country, the people exude an incredible spirit of resilience. While their spirit is strong, the need is great. Around 80% of the country lives on less than $1 a day (wfp.org).
Hime For Help is guided by a board of directors based in Ontario, Canada. They work with our founder and CEO Emily Hime to ensure that we effectively meet the needs of our children and staff.
The vision of Emily and the board is only accomplished through the generosity of donors like you and the tireless service of our staff on the grounds in Haiti
